Caring for Communities
through Wellness

Your health is your wealth. That's why our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles extends way beyond our provision of quality foods and beverages. Over the years, we have invested in the wellness infrastructure of the island and have supported initiatives that promote good health such as in-store blood pressure testing events. Here's a little more on what we've done to contribute to the wellness of individuals in the Federation:

Ram's Ophthalmic (Eye) Clinic

Notable medical contributions include the Ram's Eye Clinic located at the Joseph N. France General Hospital in Basseterre St. Kitts. The clinic is dedicated in memory of the late Mrs. Kalawanti L. Ramchandani.  Other contributions in areas of health were made to the Endoscopic Unit at the Nevis Alexandra Hospital and the Nevis Red Cross.

St. Christopher Outreach Center

The St. Christopher Outreach Center, located on the Irish town Bay Road, was established in July 2010. It provides hot meals to the underprivileged, particularly the homeless and shut-ins. It also provides counseling to the mentally ill as well as a shower and clean clothing when needed.

The Center is the brainchild of Mr Kishu Chandiramani, proprietor, RAMS group of companies, and is managed in partnership with the St. Kitts Christian Council.

The Pediatric Assistance League

of St. Kitts & Nevis (PALS)

PALS is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the availability of essentially needed medical treatment and health care to the children of St. Kitts & Nevis. Ram's unites with PALS in the belief that “it takes a village to raise a child”. Together we are laser-focused to ensure a better quality of life for all children of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Giselle Matthews, President of PALS graciously credited Ram's for its platinum support:

“Without the strong community minded spirit and corporate responsibility ethos of the RAM’S Group, PALS would not be in a position to deliver the level of financial support to many of our sick children and families who require urgent overseas medical assistance. Ram’s became an official Platinum Partner of PALS when we celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2016, and for many years as before has been one of our charities biggest stalwarts.”
